For whatever reason, I always crave peanut butter banana smoothies when I visit my boyfriend in Dover, New Hampshire. But, he doesn't have a blender. At least he didn't. I happened to find one that I had stored in my basement when I was looking for other kitchen gadgets for him! So, between the two of us, we used it three times today! Once was to make this delicious smoothie that hit the spot! It's filling and full of nutrients and fiber.
Ingredients:
1 frozen banana
2 large handfuls of raw spinach
1 cup cashew/almond milk (I used Almond Breeze, but any milk will work fine)
2 Tbs peanut butter (I used Teddie's natural salted)
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tsp hemp seeds
1 tsp flax meal
1/4 cup ice (approx.)
1 serving Sunwarrior Warrior Blend Vanilla Protein Powder (or any other plant protein powder)
Instructions:
1. Put all ingredients in a blender.
2. Blend until smooth and creamy.
3. Enjoy!
